Welcome to Orinne Creekside Cabins! We’re happy to host you and hope you have a peaceful and memorable stay. To ensure the best experience for everyone, please follow these house rules.
Check-In & Check-Out
- Check-in time: 3:00 PM or later
- Check-out time: 11:00 AM
- Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request and approval. We need enough to ensure the house is clean for the next guests, and honor our cleaners schedules.
Occupancy & Visitors
- Maximum guests allowed per cabin: 2 adults. As a guideline for your comfort, we suggest no more than two or three children. This is a “Tiny House” at 396 sq. feet. (approx 36.8 sq meters).
- Only registered guests are allowed to stay overnight.
- Day visitors must be approved in advance and may not exceed 6 people.
Quiet Hours
- Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM to respect other guests and neighbors.
- Loud music, parties, and disruptive behavior are not permitted.
- Orinne Creekside is in a rural setting but the noise carries and we want to maintain good relations with our neighbors!
- The cabin does have a Bluetooth speaker for guest use, but the volume needs to be kept low for the neighbors sake.
Smoking & Fire Safety
- No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property. A $250 cleaning fee will be charged for violations.
- No open flames inside the cabin, including candles and incense.
- Outdoor fire pits and grills must be used responsibly and never left unattended.
Pets
- Pets are not allowed
- Service animals are always welcome with proper documentation.
Kitchen & Food
- The tiny home does not currently have a dishwasher. To minimize the amount of dishwashing the guest needs to do, please keep the dishes clean during your stay as you use them. However, on day of departure leave the dishes rinsed off in the sink. We will run them through the dishwasher in our other cabin as part of our standard cleaning.
- Do not dispose of grease or food scraps in sinks.
- Because we have a septic system we do not have a garbage disposal in our cabin, or in the tiny home cabin.
- Please do not leave food outside, as it attracts wildlife.
Cabin Cleanliness & Care
- Please treat the cabin with respect.
- Report any accidental damage immediately so we can address it quickly.
- Excessive cleaning or damage may result in additional charges.
Septic System & Toilets
- Our cabins use a septic system—please only flush the toilet paper provided. This is very important.
- Do not flush wipes, paper towels, feminine products, or anything else. Even if they say they are flushable or can be used in a septic system.
- As we said above, under the Kitchen & Food section, because we have a septic system we do not have a garbage disposal in our cabin, or in the tiny home cabin.
- Under the sink in the bathroom we have provided black sealable/disposable bags for diapers and other items.
Wildlife & Nature
- Do not feed or approach wildlife. This is for your safety and theirs. Note: We have a variety of wildlife, some of them are venomous. The best rule to follow is to not touch, or get close to, any species. We leave our wildlife wild, none of them are used to being fed or touched.
- We do treat for insects in the immediate vicinity of the cabin, but are mindful to keep the products we use as environment friendly as we can, while still being effectual.
- Be mindful of local plants, creeks, and the environment.
- Fires are restricted to designated areas (in fire pit by the circle drive and the fire pit at the tiny home), and fully extinguished before leaving them unattended.
- Tornados and dangerous weather: While rare in the Marietta area, tornados and dangerous storms do happen. We have a tornado shelter up by the grey shed at the circle drive. If you feel unsafe, or if the local warning siren goes off go to the shelter immediately, DO NOT take chances. We use the “4 Warn” weather app on our phones and have found it to be accurate, plus it has an audible warning.
Internet & Technology
- WiFi is provided but may be limited due to the rural setting. Streaming-heavy usage may be restricted.
- Do not tamper with the network equipment or any cabin electronics. Call the hosts for assistance.
Parking
- There is sufficient parking spaces for guests at the cabin. If you have an RV or are towing a trailer or boat please discuss with the hosts before arrival so that we can work out the most efficient parking. There is a cleanout available next to the cabin.
- No parking on grass or blocking other buildings.
Trash & Recycling
- Dispose of trash in the designated bins.
- Secure trash bags properly to prevent attracting wildlife.
- Under the sink in the bathroom we have provided black sealable/disposable bags for diapers and other items.

- In case of emergency, dial 911. The emergency center is 5-6 miles down the highway towards Marietta. See emergency information on the wall by the side door.

If you feel unsafe, or if the local warning siren goes off go to the shelter immediately, DO NOT take chances.
