The Vault BBQ – Marietta, OK
200 W Main St , Marietta, OK Marietta, Oklahoma (580) 277-0571 thevaultbbq@gmail.com
The Vault restaurant is both a Host Favorite as well as a community favorite. The focus is BBQ and they deliver good burgers, quesadillas, and have their own sweet sauce that Rhea really enjoyed. There are salads, steaks, and their tres leches desert looked sooo good.
They describe themselves as “We are a BBQ and more dine-in restaurant. We are specialized in smoking meat and preparing craft cocktails. We offer a variety of soups, fresh salads, sandwiches, and more. We are your one stop for a stunning atmosphere, amazing food, and spectacular service. We cater to families, work lunches, special occasions, game nights, and much more!”

“loved the burgers…”
The building has it’s own history. On January 25, 1928, Haney Horace Hix Liddell and his accomplice, Oscar Harrison, robbed the Love County National Bank in Marietta. During the heist, Love County Sheriff Sam C. Long was mortally wounded, and Harrison was killed. Liddell evaded capture for nearly ten months but was eventually shot during a subsequent bank robbery. You can see a copy of the Marietta Monitor newspaper hanging on the wall, and one of the original bank tables is still there with a chip in the marble from a bullet.
